A warm coat can make all the difference during a Midwest winter.
Thanks to the generosity of our community and everyone who supported our fundraising efforts, students from low-income families served by Brightpoint's Marletta Darnall Child & Family Center in Schaumburg received more than 100 brand-new, high-quality winter coats to help them stay warm, comfortable, and ready to learn and succeed.
The Darnall Child & Family Center provides essential support and services to these families through early childhood education, family services, child welfare, and mental health programs.
This coat donation program has been an annual service project of our club since 2011. Over the past 15 years, we've provided more than 1,300 new winter coats to local children. Each coat is more than just protection from the cold. It's a reminder that they matter and that their community cares.
Together, we're making a meaningful impact in the lives of local children and families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible, including our valued partner, Operation Warm.
Your support continues to spread warmth, hope, and kindness throughout our community. 💙
