When a representative of the Schaumburg Twp food pantry shared that they were in need of turkeys for Thanksgiving, Schaumburg AM Rotarians quickly stepped in. Club member Joe Sabatino reached out to Costco’s Schaumburg store, who generously donated a gift card. With it, our club was able to purchase 60 turkeys for this food pantry, ensuring that families in need could enjoy a holiday meal together.
Monthly the Schaumburg Twp food pantry provides support to more than 1,300 families facing food insecurity.
Thank you to Costco and Schaumburg store manager Brandon Peck for their generosity that made a difference!

Schaumburg AM Rotary proudly participated as a 2025 Cornucopia Sponsor of the November 22 & 23 Basket Brigade of Suburban Chicago's Annual Thanksgiving Dinner basket assembly and delivery.
Basket Brigade’s mission is to provide a complete Thanksgiving dinner that can feed a family of five to struggling families within their delivery area in order to bring a sense of hope, knowing that their community cares about them.
Volunteers assembled food baskets on Saturday November 22 and delivered them on Sunday, November 23 to deserving families residing in Streamwood, Hanover Park, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Carpentersville, Elgin, South Elgin, Barrington and Inverness.
Basket Brigade's goal this year was to provide 2,025 complete dinners to local families in need.

These acts of kindness highlight the power of collaboration—neighbors, businesses, and service clubs working hand-in-hand to make sure no one is left out during the season of gratitude.
