Rotarians Celebrate Reading & Writing Night with Churchill Students & Families

Club members Jeff Winkenwerder, Sharon Perry and Vibha Tambe attended Winston Churchill School's April 10 Celebrate Reading & Writing Night.  Schaumburg AM Rotary donated new books and family literacy games that were awarded as prizes to students participating in the Book Walk and as door prizes.

Early literacy training is critical to the success of a child's later education.  Rotarians work with children, parents, and educators to encourage and build reading and writing skills at an early age.
