Schaumburg A.M. Rotarians were present at today’s 37th Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon hosted by the Village of Schaumburg and held at Maggiano’s Little Italy.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to all volunteer nominees in the following three categories – Adult, Organization and Youth – by Schaumburg Village President Tom Dailly.
We are proud to announce that club member Jim McKenzie was named as the 2025 Adult Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his dedication to helping others and making a significant impact in the community through the programs and causes that he champions. These include BuilderEDU, Uncharted Learning, and GritGrant in addition to his involvement with and community contributions made through the Rotary Club of Schaumburg A.M.
The WINGS Program, Inc. and Schaumburg High School Senior Anna Ekstowicz were named as winners in the Volunteer Organization and Youth Volunteer categories, respectively.
This annual luncheon recognizes adults, young people, and organizations that, through volunteer efforts, help to make Schaumburg a better place.
