That and many more non-perishable food items were donated by Schaumburg AM Rotary and packed into approximately 50 emergency food bags for distribution at the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.
The bags are intended to help bridge the food insecurity gap of individuals who have asked for food assistance until they can connect with a more local-to-them food pantry who can serve their needs.
Thanks to our club’s community service chair Bill Paton for working with a local Aldi store to purchase the donated food and to Rotarians Mike Brow, Dawn Block, Dan Origer, Bill Paton and Sharon Perry who donated their time to assemble these bags and re-stock the pantry shelves.
